As our farm has grown, one thing has become crystal clear: we will never sacrifice our standards, our transparency, or the integrity of the food we raise for your family.

Because of your support, more households are choosing clean, 100% grassfed beef and we simply cannot supply enough animals from our land alone without compromising the very practices that make our beef what it is. Instead of pushing our land beyond what it can naturally sustain, we made a different choice; one we are excited and proud to share with you.

Today, we are welcoming another like-minded ranch family into our mission.

Meet Our Trusted Partner Ranch

4th generation ranchers; Kody and Emma Aesoph, along with their four children and immediate family, Bob and Diane Steers, steward a 4,000-acre generational ranch in Miller, South Dakota. Their land is unlike anything we have in Ohio. Native mixed-grass prairie that has never been plowed, sprayed, or touched by chemicals (AMAZING!). Some areas still hold visible teepee rings left by the Sioux people - a powerful reminder that this land has been cared for, not conquered.

The Aesophs and their family raise primarily Angus cattle on these untouched grasslands using the same principles we hold sacred at Ayers Valley Farm:

  • Daily rotational grazing

  • Chemical-free practices

  • Humane, low-stress handling

  • Respect for creation and nature’s design

Their values mirror ours not just on paper, but in daily decisions - the kind that are made when no one is watching. That’s why we chose them. Their land, their principles, and their character make it possible to grow our herd without ever lowering the bar.

What This Means for You

  • Same strict standards — nothing changes about how our beef is raised or processed - no vaccines, no added-hormones, no chemicals ever!

  • Same eating experience — clean, nutrient-dense, full-flavor beef

  • Same transparency — you know who raised your food and how it was raised

  • Beef still ships directly from our farm to your doorstep

We will continue to oversee protocols, processing, and quality - and the cattle from the Aesoph ranch will follow the same system as our own animals from pasture to plate.

Your ranchers didn’t change, the family just got bigger.

Why This Matters

This partnership allows us to:

  • Care for our land instead of over-using it

  • Support another regenerative family ranch

  • Strengthen—not dilute—our mission by regenerating more than land we are today

This was never about “adding supply.” This is about protecting the integrity of our beef for generations to come.

We simply want to say thank you - for trusting us, for believing in this movement, and for helping build something bigger than one farm.

Together, we are proving that clean food, honest work, and regenerative stewardship still matter.

With gratitude,
Josh, Taylor, and the AVF Family

How to Cook Wild-Caught Seafood from Ayers Valley Farm

At Ayers Valley Farm, we believe clean eating shouldn’t stop at the pasture. That’s why our seafood is 100% wild-caught, sourced from trusted fisherman — never farmed, never treated with chemicals, and always sourced from responsible fisheries. Whether it’s Ahi tuna, wild-caught salmon, tender cod, or sweet shrimp, our seafood cooks quickly, cleanly, and beautifully. Here’s how to make the most of each variety — with simple techniques and real, vibrant flavor.

How to Cook Grass-Fed Finished Beef from Ayers Valley Farm

Our beef comes from cattle raised the right way — on open pastures, grazing fresh forage, without grain, antibiotics, or hormones. This natural, grass-based diet creates a leaner, cleaner, more flavorful cut of beef that cooks a little differently than conventional grain-fed beef. With just a few simple techniques, you can bring out the rich, full-bodied flavor of true grass-fed beef — the way nature intended.

How to Cook Pasture-Raised Pork From Ayers Valley Farm

At Ayers Valley Farm, our heritage-breed pigs are raised the way nature intended — outside in the woods, with room to roam, root, and live naturally. Because their diet and lifestyle are so different from conventional pigs, they cook a little differently too. Here’s your go-to guide for cooking our forested, soy-free, corn-free, pasture-raised pork to perfection.
