General Cooking Tips:

✅ Cook it how you like it.
Unlike chicken or pork, beef is safe to enjoy at any level of doneness — from rare to well done. You can judge doneness by color and feel rather than temperature.

✅ Color Guide:
Raw beef = deep red.
Cooked beef = brown.
Pink or red after cooking? Totally fine (and usually more tender!).

✅ Temperature Guide (if you’re using a thermometer):

  • Rare: 120–125°F
  • Medium-Rare: 130–135°F
  • Medium: 135–145°F
  • Medium-Well: 145–155°F
  • Well Done: 155–160°F

Tip: Pull your steak or roast off the heat a few degrees before your target temperature — it’ll continue cooking as it rests.

For grass-fed beef, medium-rare to medium is the sweet spot for tenderness and flavor.
