When we say “the cleanest meat in America,” we mean it — and now, we have independent proof to back it up.

We recently sent samples of our beef, pork, and chicken to Health Research Institute Labs (HRI Labs) — an ISO 17025–accredited laboratory that specializes in testing for glyphosate, the world’s most widely used herbicide.

The results came back simple, clear, and worth celebrating: No detectable levels of glyphosate or AMPA in any of our meats. (That’s 0.00 ng/g — not detected at all.)

What Is Glyphosate and Why Does It Matter?

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in many commercial weed killers, including Roundup®. It’s used on conventional farms, schoolyards, golf courses, and even public parks. Because it’s sprayed directly on crops including grains like corn, soy, and wheat - it often ends up in the food supply.

HRI Labs reports that 86% of people tested have detectable levels of glyphosate in their bodies, and studies have linked even low-level exposure to potential disruptions in gut health, liver function, and cellular balance.

While the science around glyphosate’s long-term effects is still debated, here’s what’s clear:

  • Glyphosate residues show up most often in foods sprayed before harvest (like conventional grains and legumes).

  • It’s also found in animal products when livestock consume glyphosate-contaminated feed.

  • People who eat mostly organic and regenerative foods typically have up to 75% less glyphosate in their bodies.

That’s why our team at Ayers Valley Farm made a commitment years ago to go beyond organic. To raise animals in a way that naturally eliminates exposure to chemicals, from the soil up.

How Our Farming Practices Keep Glyphosate Out

Our results didn’t happen by accident, they’re the direct outcome of how we raise and feed our animals.

Here’s what sets our approach apart:

No GMO grains, corn, or soy. Our chicken and pork are raised on a custom, non-GMO, corn- and soy-free feed blend that eliminates the primary sources of glyphosate residue. Our cattle are 100% grassfed and finished on chemical free pastures.

Daily pasture rotation. Animals move to fresh grass every day — which keeps soil and forages clean and chemical-free.

Regenerative grazing. We work with nature to rebuild soil health and biodiversity, not against it.

Vaccine-free and chemical-free. Our livestock live their entire lives on open pasture — no feedlot, no routine drugs, no added hormones and no synthetic inputs.

No chlorine baths, mRNA/vaccines, or chemical washes. We prioritize purity from pasture to processor.

These intentional choices are why our independent testing showed no glyphosate detected in any species we raise.

Why This Matters for Your Family’s Health

Glyphosate exposure can come from many directions — food, water, and even the air. But your diet is the biggest contributor.

By choosing meat from animals raised on clean pasture and free of contaminated feed, you’re dramatically reducing your exposure to this chemical.

Eating glyphosate-free meat means you’re nourishing your body — and your family — with food that’s:

  • Free from harmful residues

  • Better for gut and liver health

  • Raised in harmony with the land, not at its expense

For us, this isn’t about hype — it’s about stewardship.
Our mission has always been to restore health to our soil, our animals, and the families we feed. Independent lab testing is simply our way of proving that integrity in action.
