- (8 ounces) Angel Hair Pasta
- (1 pack) Ground Beef
- (1) Medium Onion, finely chopped
- (4 cloves) Minced Garlic
- (12 ounces) Tomato Sauce
- (2 Tbsp.) Tomato Paste
- (1 Tbsp.) Fresh Basil, chopped
- (1 Tbsp.) Fresh Parsley, chopped
- (1/2 tsp) Fresh Thyme, chopped
- (1/2 tsp) Salt
- (1/4 tsp) Black Pepper
- (1 Tbsp) Olive Oil
- Fresh Parsley Leaves (optional for garnish)
- (Measure with your heart ;)) Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1. Cook the angel hair according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion turns translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add Ayers Valley Farm ground beef to the skillet and cook until it browns, breaking it up into smaller pieces with spoon a wooden.
4. Stir in sauce the tomato and tomato paste. Add the chopped fresh basil, fresh oregano, fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
5. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Serve the cooked angel hair pasta with the meat sauce on top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a generous sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
