Ingredients
- (1 pack) Chicken Drumsticks
- (1 tablespoon) Dried Oregano
- (2 teaspoons) Garlic Powder
- (1 teaspoon) Onion Powder
- (2 tablespoons) Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- (1 lemon) Lemon Juice
- (1/4 cup, grated) Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish* optional)
- (2 Tbsp) Avocado Oil
Directions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Marinate the Drumsticks: Add the drumsticks to the marinade in the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the Oven: When ready to cook, preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Prepare for Baking: Arrange the marinated drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Squeeze lemon juice over the drumsticks.
- Bake: Place the drumsticks in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Aioli: While the chicken is baking, prepare the aioli. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix well until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Final Touches: Once the drumsticks are done, remove from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot chicken. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve: Serve the Greek drumsticks hot, accompanied by the garlic Parmesan aioli for dipping.
