  • Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
  • (1 pack of Breakfast Sausage OR Ground Pork (Plain)) Pork Sausage (Breakfast)
  • (1 teaspoon) Ground Sage (if using plain Ground Pork)
  • (1/2 teaspoon) Garlic Powder
  • (1/4 cup) Breadcrumbs
  • (2 Tablespoons) Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • (2 Tablespoons) Chopped Fresh Parsley

Directions

1. Prepare the Stuffed Mushrooms:

  •  Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Brush the cleaned mushroom caps with olive oil and season them with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  •  Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet, hollow side up.

2. Prepare the Ground Sage Pork Filling:

  •  In a bowl, combine the lean ground pork with ground sage, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.

3. Stuff the Mushrooms:

  • Remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Arrange them on a serving platter and garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.
  • Serve your Stuffed Mushrooms with Ground Sage Pork as a delightful appetizer or side dish.
