One thing I really struggle with as a mom who constantly has no hands is breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day and I’ve been skipping it. No more! These Sausage Balls took less than a half hour and made an entire pan to eat through the week. I made a double batch to share with the crew but a single batch recipe is below (approx 20-22 balls). 👏🏼
- Prep Time:
- Cook Time:
- Servings: 12
Ingredients
- (1 pack) Pork Breakfast Sausage (Sugar Free)
- (2 cups) Pancake or Biscuit Mix (I used @just.ingredients protein pancake mix)
- (1/3 cup) Water
- (1/3 milk) Milk
- (2 cups) cheddar cheese (shred it yourself to avoid anti-caking ingredients in preshredded cheese)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, then use a cookie scoop to scoop it out and roll into a tight ball.
- Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 24 minutes, rotating your pan halfway through until the meat is thoroughly cooked to at least 145 degrees F. Enjoy!
