Our Ground Pork Bratwurst is a classic bratwurst made from pasture raised pork and is plain, unseasoned. This version is ground-style, giving it a slightly different texture than linked brats — versatile, easy to cook, and incredibly flavorful from first bite to last.
Our hogs are raised on chemical free pastures and woods where they root, roam, and forage freely. They are fed a corn, soy, and flax free non-GMO diet and raised with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no vaccines. Traditional bratwurst seasoning and clean pasture raised pork are a combination that is hard to beat.
Cooking Tip: Brown in a cast iron skillet over medium heat, breaking into crumbles, until cooked through and caramelized — about 8 to 10 minutes. It is also excellent formed into patties or balls and pan seared. Perfect for bratwurst rice bowls, sausage and sauerkraut skillets, stuffed peppers, pasta with caramelized onions and peppers, or piled onto a pretzel bun with mustard and pickled vegetables.
