Our Pork Baby Back Ribs are the most tender ribs on the hog — cut from the upper loin area where the meat is leaner, more delicate, and quicker to cook than spare ribs. They have a sweet, clean pork flavor that takes beautifully to dry rubs and sauces, and they deliver that perfect combination of tender meat and satisfying chew that makes a great rack of ribs so hard to stop eating.
Our hogs are raised on chemical free pastures and woods where they root, roam, and forage freely. They are fed a corn, soy, and flax free non-GMO diet and raised with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no vaccines. Baby back ribs from a pasture raised hog have a cleaner, more refined flavor than anything you will find at a grocery store — the quality of the meat makes every bite count.
Cooking Tip: Remove the membrane from the back of the rack and apply your dry rub generously. Smoke or roast at 225 to 250 degrees F for 3 to 4 hours, or use the 2-2-1 method — 2 hours unwrapped, 2 hours wrapped in foil with apple cider or butter, then 1 hour unwrapped with sauce to finish. They are done when the meat pulls back from the bone tips and bends easily when lifted from one end. Perfect for backyard BBQ, game day platters, family dinners, or anytime you want ribs that are worth every minute of the cook time.
Baby back ribs from a clean, well-raised pasture hog are one of the great joys of summer cooking. Low and slow, a little smoke, and pork this good — it does not get much better.
We ship your baby back ribs frozen with dry ice in eco friendly insulated packaging straight to your door, so you always have a clean, trusted protein ready for your next cookout or backyard session.
