Our cattle are 100% grass fed and finished on chemical free native pastures with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no vaccines. When the beef quality is this good, adding real cheddar takes it to an entirely different level. This is a cookout staple that earns repeat orders.
Cooking Tip: Grill over medium heat for 15 to 18 minutes, turning occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. The cheddar will start to ooze slightly as the brat heats through — that is the signal it is ready. Serve on a toasted bun with spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut, pickled jalapenos, or simply on its own with a cold beer. Also excellent sliced and served as an appetizer with crackers and a sharp mustard dipping sauce.
