It has a mild, clean flavor and a lighter fat content than ground beef or pork, making it one of the most flexible proteins you can keep in your freezer. These chickens are raised on pasture with daily rotation on our regenerative family farm, where they can scratch, forage, and live the way chickens were designed to. They are raised on chemical free pastures and fed a non-GMO, herbicide, pesticide, corn, soy, and flax free diet, with no antibiotics, no hormones, and no vaccines. During processing, the birds are chilled in purified ice water with no chlorine, ensuring the meat stays clean and pure from pasture to plate.

Cooking Tip: Brown in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking into crumbles and seasoning as it cooks — it releases less fat than beef so keep a little moisture in the pan. Do not overcook or it can dry out.
